    The first online web based live support solution launches: Kayako eSupport. The precursor to the MVC and Ajax were used in the making of this project to create the worlds first and best online support solution.

  • Web 2.0
    Active 9 created stylish faded graphics using smooth edges and reflections became standard in video game websites and online print media. This was partially influenced by a website known as tribesbase.com which had the worlds first live friend to friend chat box (like facebook's) and was the precursor the what is now known as the Model View Controller. Active 9 was influential in the creation of these technologies and techniques.

  • Forgotten Hope
    As the time ticks on we are always reminded of the harshness and difficulty that our forefathers endured. Active 9 studios helped deliver Forgotten Hope a Battlefield 1942 modification that to this day has yet to be topped in terms of reproducing historical battlefields and machinery from World War II in 3d.

  • Active 9 Studios
    Active 9 studios banded artists together to learn and build maps for the video game Battlefield 1942. Some of these artists were hired by DiCE, Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft to build maps and create textures for games such as Battlefield 2, Far Cry, and PlanetSide.

  • The Model View Controller
    Active 9 creates the PHP Model View Controller. This initial version was known as the PHP Development Kit and was later given to Zeev Suraski of Zend to redistribute free to the world. The PHP Development Kit is now known as the Zend Framework and the Model View Controller is now a fundamental part of thousands of web sites online including: Facebook, Youtube, and more. This technology has generated a multi billion dollar a year industry.
